This volunteer is someone who is willing to make a spiritual commitment to regularly pray for your elected officials and the mission of Catholic Citizenship. Coordinating with others to meet on a regular basis to pray will be the key responsibility in this role.

Essentials for a successful PP:

Willing to devote time to pray each day.

Understand the power of prayer, especially intercessory prayer.

Knowing that God does not call us to be successful, but faithful.

Key Responsibilities of a parish PP:

Sign a prayer partner commitment pledge card/form.

Make a commitment to pray for your legislator, your priest, and our fellow citizens.

Determine what prayer(s) or offering they will pray each day.

Encourage prayer for Catholic Citizenship in your parish.

Ask your pastor to offer a mass for Catholic Citizenship and legislators.
